Ancient Mysian town

Didymateiche (Ancient Greek:Δίδυμα τείχη),[1] orDidymon Teichos (Ancient Greek:Δίδυμον Τεῖχος, 'twin walled'), was a town ofancient Mysia.[2] It belonged to theDelian League since it appears in tribute records ofAthens between the years 454/3 and 418/7 BCE.[3]Polybius writes that it was among the places that were conquered byAttalus I, after the city ofCarseae.[1]

Its site is located north ofBiga / Çanakkale, Turkey,Asiatic Turkey.[2][4]
