Brittany Christine Fetkin (born February 3, 1988)[1] is an American model, television personality, and formerprofessional wrestler. She is known for her work inWWE'sdevelopmental territory,NXT, where she served as a backstage interviewer under thering nameDevin Taylor.

Early life

Fetkin was born inSan Diego, California and raised inTemecula, California. She is ofJapanese,Lithuanian, andUkrainian descent.[4] Fetkin is a graduate ofLoyola Marymount University with a degree inbroadcast journalism.[5] A competitivesoccer player since her childhood, Fetkin competed in theYouth World Cup inSweden and earned scholar athletes honors during her formative years.[5]

Professional wrestling career

Fetkin signed a contract with theprofessional wrestlingpromotionWWE in 2013 and was assigned to theirdevelopmental territory,NXT, where she was given thering nameDevin Taylor. She debuted as a backstage interviewer on the November 20 episode ofNXT.[6] Taylor's recurring interactions withDana Brooke often ended with Brooke patting her on the head in a condescending fashion, something that Brooke would later use as a taunt while wrestling.[7] Taylor was also an in-ring competitor at NXTlive events, participating mainly inDivastag team matches.[8]

On October 9, 2015, WWE officially announced that Fetkin was released from her contract, due to injury concerns hampering her training progress.[9] Her release was featured on an episode ofWWE Breaking Ground.[10] Following her release, Fetkin had a short stint on theindependent circuit, appearing as a backstage interviewer forPacific Coast Wrestling (PCW).[11]

Fetkin is a former print model and has appeared in nationally televised commercial campaigns forNASCAR andHewlett-Packard.[5] In 2015, Fetkin appeared as a contestant in thenineteenth season of theABCreality television showThe Bachelor. She was eliminated in the first episode.[12][13]

Personal life

Fetkin had been working on hermaster's degree prior to her time in WWE, and she graduated from theUniversity of Miami in July 2018.[14][15] She would go on to complete herdoctorate, graduating from theUniversity of Southern California in May 2021.[16]

Fetkin announced her engagement in December 2022,[17] and married her husband in August 2023.[18]
