Daxing Jichang (Daxing Airport) station[a] (Chinese:大兴机场站;pinyin:Dàxīng Jīchǎng zhàn)[1][4][5] is a station on theDaxing Airport Express of theBeijing Subway, and theBeijing–Xiong'an intercity railway of China Railway.

The subway station forDaxing Airport Express ofBeijing Subway opened on September 26, 2019.[2]

The railway station forBeijing–Xiong'an intercity railway also opened on September 26, 2019.[3] The railway station forIntercity Railway Connector will open in 2024.

Description

A ground transportation center was constructed beneath the North Terminal ofBeijing Daxing International Airport.[6] Two underground railway stations (forBeijing–Xiong'an intercity railway andIntercity Railway Connector)[7] and three metro stations (Daxing Airport Express,Line 20 (Line R4) and another planned metro line)[7] were built beneath the North Terminal. Currently, only one of the metro lines (Daxing Airport Express) and one of the railway lines (Beijing–Xiong'an intercity railway) are in operation.
