Dawonsys (Korean: 다원시스) is a South Korean company manufacturingrolling stock, display, semiconductor, plant equipment, and environmental systems. It changed its name to the current one in May 2001 to reflect its parent company.[3]
The company was founded in 1996. In 2001, the company changed its name to its current one, aligning itself towards the parent company. The company then announced the acquisition of its competitor Rowin Corporation in 2016 and subsequently absorbed in February 2017.[4] Dawonsys currently employs 261 and exports to countries worldwide.[5]
Notable projects include supplying some of South Korea's rolling stock, which includes severalElectric multiple units for some lines inSeoul Metro.
