Acostotransverse ligament is ligament of thecostotransverse joint which attaches at (the posterior aspect of[1]) the neck of a rib, and at (the anterior aspect of[1]) the transverse process of[1][2] its corresponding[1] vertebra.[1][2] It extends posteriorly from the rib to the vertebra.[1]
