Constant Kusters (born 12 December 1970 inOosterbeek) is a Dutch politician. He is chairman of theDutch People's Union (NVU). This party has been mainly known for itsNeo-Nazi conceptions. Kusters has been convicted of various racial hatred offenses on several occasions.[1][2]
After a commemoration forRudolf Hess on 26 August 2000, Kusters and two other Dutch neo-Nazis were prosecuted for inciting racial hatred. This was due the distribution of an NVU pamphlet. The distribution came with text boards, banners and flags with neo-Nazi texts and slogans. Kusters was found guilty and sentenced to six weeks in prison.[2]
