TheColumbus Landsharks were a member of theNational Lacrosse League from2001 until2003. They were based inColumbus, Ohio. After the 2003 season, the franchise moved toPhoenix, Arizona, becoming theArizona Sting. This move was based on poor attendance.
The final active Landshark in the NLL wasDan Dawson, who they drafted in 2001 in the 6th round, 68th overall. He retired on June 12, 2023.
