Clayton M. Jones (born c. 1952) is the former chairman ofRockwell Collins.
He grew up inNashville, Tennessee. He studied at theUniversity of Tennessee andGeorge Washington University. He served as a fighter pilot in theU.S. Air Force before joiningRockwell International.
He served on the board of directors of theUnisys Corporation andGeneral Aviation Manufacturers Association as well as on the board of governors of theAerospace Industry Association. He was a member of the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee. He was an Honorary Fellow of theAmerican Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
