Christopher Haase (born 26 September 1987 inKulmbach) is a German professional racing driver.[1] He currently competes in theGT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup withAudi customer team Tresor Attempto Racing.[2] Among his most notable successes are winning the2007 ADAC GT Masters title, triumphing alongsideChristopher Mies in the2009 FIA GT3 European Championship, and taking home theNürburgring 24 Hours in2012 and2014.[3][4] He also won the24 Hours of Spa in2017.[5]
He achieved considerable success in the 2014 season, sharing the winning Audi R8 LMS in the Nurburgring 24 Hours, and finishing second in the GTD class of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship in America.
Born inKulmbach,Bavaria, Haase began racing in 2006 in the ADAC Dacia Logan Cup, before moving to the ADAC GT Masters series in 2007, which he won.[6] The following season, he remained in the series and finished second, in addition to winning the GT4 European Cup.[7] After winning the 2009 GT3 European title withPhoenix Racing, the German proceeded to compete in theFIA GT1 World Championship in 2010.[8]
Having become anAudi factory driver in 2011, Haase entered theBlancpain Endurance Series in 2012, winning it forTeam WRT.[9] He spent two seasons in theIMSA SportsCar Championship in 2014 and 2015 withPaul Miller Racing, scoring eight podiums and winning a lone race atPetit Le Mans.[10] From 2016 onward, the German driver split his attention between the Blancpain Endurance andBlancpain Sprint Series, driving forSaintéloc Racing until and including 2021. That year also saw him make hisDTM debut, competing forTeam Rosberg at theNürburgring.[11]
In 2022, Haase switched to Tresor by Car Collection, with whom he would take third in theGTWC Europe Sprint Cup, his best placing in the championship.[12] Subsequently, Haase drove forComtoyou Racing in both series before moving to Tresor Attempto Racing in 2024.[13][14]
