Chris Bellman is an Americanmastering engineer. He started working at Allen Zentz Mastering and, since 1984, he began working atBernie Grundman Mastering studios.[1] He received aGrammy Award for Best Surround Sound Album nomination at the51st Annual Grammy Awards forRingo Starr'sRingo 5.1: The Surround Sound Collection in 2009, and the following year was nominated for aGrammy Award for Album of the Year at the52nd Annual Grammy Awards for theBlack Eyed Peas'The E.N.D.. He won his firstGrammy Award for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical at the61st Annual Grammy Awards for hismastering duties onBeck'sColors in 2019, sharing the award with fellow mastering engineersRandy Merrill,Emily Lazar andTom Coyne.
