Okoroji made his professional debut forSC Freiburg in theBundesliga on 21 October 2018, coming on as a substitute in the 73rd minute forRoland Sallai in the 1–1 away draw againstHertha BSC.[3]
On 22 July 2023, Okoroji signed a two-year contract withSt. Gallen in Switzerland.[4]
Okoroji was born in Germany, to a Nigerian father and an English mother fromLiverpool.[5][6][7]
