Carl Heath (1869–1950) was a leader of theQuaker movement in Britain and apenal reformer. He was the secretary of theNational Peace Council during theFirst World War when he conceived the idea ofQuaker embassies to establish an international Quaker organisation.[1][2] He was a member of theHumanitarian League and secretary of the Society for the Abolition of Capital Punishment.[3]
