TheMastodonsauroidea are anextinctsuperfamily oftemnospondylamphibians known from theTriassic.Fossils belonging to this superfamily have been found inNorth America,Greenland,Europe,Asia, andAustralia.Ferganobatrachus from theJurassic of Asia was initially assigned to this superfamily, but is now considered to be congeneric with thebrachyopidGobiops.[1]
