Cape San Antonio (Spanish:Cabo San Antonio), is acape which forms the western extremity of theGuanahacabibes Peninsula and the western extremity ofCuba. It extends into theYucatán Channel,[1] and is part of the municipality ofSandino, inPinar del Río Province.
According to theInternational Hydrographic Organization, the line between thelighthouse atCabo Catoche on the north tip of theYucatán Peninsula inMexico and thelighthouse at Cape San Antonio marks the division between theCaribbean Sea to the south andGulf of Mexico to the north.[2]
