Candice Pierucci is an American politician serving in theUtah House of Representatives, representing District 49, which includes portions ofHerriman andRiverton,Utah. At the time of her appointment, she was the youngest member of the Utah Legislature.[1] She is a member of theRepublican Party.

Early life and career

Pierucci lives inRiverton and grew up inHerriman.[2] She graduated fromUtah Valley University with a bachelor's degree in political science,[1] and a masters' in public administration from theUniversity of Utah.[3]

Political career

Prior to her appointment to the legislature, Pierucci interned in theWashington, D.C. office of Sen.Mike Lee, R-Utah, worked for Rep.Chris Stewart, R-Utah, and as development director for theSutherland Institute, a conservative think tank.[1]

Pierucci currently serves as chair of the Utah House Education Committee.[4]

Personal life

Pierucci is married to Andy Pierucci. They have one child.[1]
