Species

Callorhinus is a genus ofsea lion. It contains the livingnorthern fur seal(Callorhinus ursinus) as well as the extinctCallorhinus gilmorei and an unnamed species, both from thePliocene and very beginning of thePleistocene.[1]

Callorhinus may be a sister genus to the extinct giant otariid,Thalassoleon.[1][2]
