Caleb Costner (born March 3, 1993) is an American professionalstock car racing driver. He competes part-time in theARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 93Chevrolet SS for his own team, CW Motorsports. Costner is also a 3rd generational race car driver in his family following after his uncle and grandfather.[1]

Racing career

Costner made hisARCA Menards Series West debut in2021. He attempted to make his debut in the #77 Toyota Camry sponsored by Thin Blue Wine Cellars and Jan's Towing at thePortland International Raceway, but did not start due to engine issues. He ended up making his debut at theAll-American Speedway, finishing 14th of a strong 24 car field in the #77 Toyota Camry sponsored by Thin Blue Wine Cellars and Jan's Towing. He then finished the 2021 season up in the #08 Toyota Camry for Kart Idaho with new sponsor Innovative Tiny Houses by finishing 30th after losing his brakes with 40 laps to go atPhoenix.

In2022, Costner made hisARCA Menards Series East debut for the newly formed Costner Weaver Motorsports atNew Smyrna Speedway. He failed to finish the race due to an overheating issue placing him in 13th.

On January 4, 2023, Costner announced that he will make hisARCA Menards Series debut for Costner Weaver Motorsports in the season-opener race atDaytona. He finished 24th after running near the top 20 throughout most of the race.[2] He returned forTalladega, earning a finish of 21st, despite blowing a right front tire in the closing laps of the race.[3] He made his third start at his hometrack,Charlotte Motor Speedway, finishing 13th, his best career finish.[4]

On January 4, 2024, it was announced that Costner will run full-time in the main ARCA series for CWM in2024, driving the #93 car.[5][6][7] After not being listed on the entry list forthe spring race at Kansas, it was announced on May 3rd that Costner would scale down to a part-time schedule and run select races for the rest of the season, due to a lack of funding.[8]

On July 3, 2023, it was announced that Costner will make hisNASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at theMid-Ohio Sports Car Course, driving the No. 34 forReaume Brothers Racing.[9]
