Caleb Orobosa Benenoch (born August 2, 1994) is an American professionalfootballguard who is a free agent. He playedcollege football atUCLA and was drafted by theTampa Bay Buccaneers in the fifth round of the2016 NFL draft.[1] He has been a member of theTampa Bay Buccaneers,New England Patriots,Carolina Panthers,Dallas Cowboys,Detroit Lions,Buffalo Bills,New Orleans Saints,New York Jets, andCalgary Stampeders.
Benenoch was born in Nigeria and playedassociation football (soccer) in early childhood before migrating toKaty, Texas, at nine. He started to playAmerican football by mistake as his mother signed him up for "football".[2]
Benenoch playedcollege football for the UCLA Bruins from 2013 to 2015.[3]

Benenoch was drafted by theTampa Bay Buccaneers in the fifth round, 148th overall, of the2016 NFL draft.[7] He played in five games as a rookie, earning his first career start at theright guard position in Week 10 against the Chicago Bears in place of the injuredKevin Pamphile.[8]
In 2018, Benenoch was named the Buccaneers starting right guard, starting all 16 games.
On September 10, 2019, Benenoch was released by the Buccaneers.[9]
On September 17, 2019, Benenoch signed with theNew England Patriots.[10] On October 1, 2019, he was released.[11]
On October 1, 2019, Benenoch was claimed off waivers by theCarolina Panthers.[12] He was released on October 22, 2019.[13]
Benenoch was signed by theDallas Cowboys on December 1, 2019, after a season-ending injury toConnor Williams.[14] He was released on December 14, 2019.
On December 16, 2019, Benenoch was claimed off waivers by theDetroit Lions.[15] Benenoch was released by the Lions on August 23, 2020.[16]
On September 12, 2020, Benenoch was signed to the Patriotspractice squad.[17] He was elevated to the active roster on October 17 for the team's week 6 game against theDenver Broncos, and reverted to the practice squad after the game.[18] He was placed on the practice squad/injured list by the team on November 13.[19] His practice squad contract with the team expired after the season on January 11, 2021.[20]
On August 4, 2021, Benenoch was signed by theBuffalo Bills.[21] He was waived on August 15.[22]
On August 18, 2021, Benenoch signed with theNew Orleans Saints.[23] He was released on August 31, 2021, and re-signed to the practice squad.[24][25] He was promoted to the active roster on December 2.[26]
On August 8, 2022, Benenoch signed with theNew York Jets.[27] On August 23, 2022, he was released.[28]
On April 5, 2023, Benenoch signed with theCalgary Stampeders of theCanadian Football League (CFL). He was released on May 19, 2023.[29] On May 21, 2023, Benenoch re-signed with the Stampeders.[30] He was released on July 25, 2023.[31]
