CWA New Blood Dagger

TheCWA New Blood Dagger is an annual award given by the BritishCrime Writers' Association (CWA) for first books by previously unpublished writers.[1] It is given in memory of CWA founderJohn Creasey and was previously known as theJohn Creasey Memorial Award.

PublisherChivers Press was the sponsor from the award's introduction in 1973 to 2002.BBC Audiobooks was the sponsor in 2003.[citation needed][needs update]
