It is mentioned in the twelfth chapter ofShiva Purana.[1]

How to reach

Budhanath Temple is 1.6 km fromBhagalpur Railway Station. Visitors can reach Budhanath via Train to Bhagalpur Junction in 10–20 minutes. From Bhagalpur junction they can reach Budhanath Mandir via Khalifabagh Market Road and Budhanath Road.

Deoghar Airport is the nearest functional airport to Budhanath predecessor ofPatna Airport.
