Richard Arlen "Bud"Marshall (September 12, 1941 – July 16, 2009) was anAmerican footballdefensive lineman in theNational Football League (NFL) for theGreen Bay Packers,Atlanta Falcons, andWashington Redskins. He also played in theAmerican Football League (AFL) for theHouston Oilers. Marshall playedcollege football atBaylor University andStephen F. Austin State University and wasdrafted in the tenth round of the1965 NFL draft.
Marshall died on July 16, 2009, five years to the day after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke.[2]
