Brynmenyn is a small village located at the confluence of theGarw andOgmore rivers in southWales, around 4 miles north ofBridgend, and it also in theBridgend County Borough council area. The village has its own primary school.[1]
TheA4065 road runs through the village; to the west this leads toTondu, and to the east it heads toAbergarw andBryncethin. TheA4064 road starts in the village and heads north towardsLlangeinor. Adisused railway runs through the village, and the village formerly had arailway station. The nearest operational station isTondu on theMaesteg Line.
Bryngarw Country Park is situated on the north-western boundary of the village.
