A partner inIcon Entertainment alongsideMel Gibson, Sydney-born Davey has produced many films includingApocalypto,The Passion of the Christ,Push, andBraveheart for which he won anAcademy Award for Best Picture.[2] Davey began as Gibson'sCPA after being recommended by Gibson's running coach inGallipoli. After becoming Gibson's business manager, the two men foundedIcon Productions in 1989.[1]
