TheBroken Wall Memorial is an outdoor memorial installed on theUniversity of Portland campus inPortland, Oregon, United States. It started with thePraying Hands Memorial, dedicated in 1948,[1][2] and was expanded and rededicated in its current form onVeterans Day in 1990. The memorial commemoratesWorld War I,Korean War,[3]Vietnam War andGulf War service members associated with the university,[4] and features inscriptions of select names.[5] Vigils are held at the site each Veterans Day.[6]
