Bracken P. Darrell is the CEO ofVF Corporation and the former CEO ofLogitech.[1]
Darrell grew up inOwensboro, Kentucky, as one of four siblings.[2] His brother, Bart Darrell, was the president ofKentucky Wesleyan College.[3]
Darrell graduated fromDaviess County High School in 1981.[3] In 1985 he earned a BA degree in english literature fromHendrix College and, in 1989, earned his MBA fromHarvard Business School.[4][5]
After graduating college and before earning his MBA, Darrell worked in public accounting for two years, and was eventually hired to do international auditing forPepsiCo.[3] Over his career he has held various positions atGeneral Electric,Gillette andArthur Andersen. AtProcter & Gamble, he was the president of theBraun division and is noted for leading the turnaround ofOld Spice deodorant.[6] Darrell joinedWhirlpool Corporation in 2008, where he became an executive vice president.[4] In 2012, he joined Logitech as president, and became CEO in early 2013.[5] In June 2023, Darrell became the CEO of VF Corporation.[7]
Darrell has served on the board of directors for Life Biosciences, an anti-aging startup,[8] and as a trustee for Hendrix College.[4]
