Bosko's Fox Hunt is the sixteenth title in theLooney Tunes series featuringBosko[1] It was released on November 28, 1931.[2][a] It is directed byHugh Harman,[3] and the film score was composed byFrank Marsales.
The cartoon's plot is somewhat similar to that of the laterLooney Tunes cartoonsPorky's Duck Hunt (1937) andPorky's Hare Hunt (1938).
A gang of male animals set out on afox hunt equipped with guns, horses and hounds; however, afox evades them. The fox is discovered by Bosko and his dog, Bruno, who are out hunting foxes as well. The fox successfully evades Bosko and Bruno's attempts to catch or shoot him. Eventually, the two hunters are chased by a largemammoth-like creature, or maybe awild boar, and fall in a heap on the ground, ending the film.
