Gnanam Balasubramanian, popularly known asBombay Gnanam, is an Indian actress[1] who appears inTamil stage, television and film productions. She started her acting career as a stage artist in 1989 when she foundMahalakshmi Ladies Drama Group.[2][3][4][5]

She has acted in over 50 Tamil television serials includingPremi,Kolangal andChidhambara Ragasiyam, Sahana,[6]Ethirneechal[7]. She was awardedKalaimamani in 2005.[8]
