Björke is a populated area, asocken (not to be confused withparish), on the Swedish island ofGotland.[3] It comprises the same area as theadministrative Björke District, established on 1 January 2016.[4]

Geography

Björke is situated in the central part of Gotland.[5] ThemedievalBjörke Church is located in the socken.[6] As of 2019[update], Björke Church belongs to Björkeparish in Romaklosterspastorat.[7][8]
