Birdman is the debut studio album by American rapperBaby, who would later take the name of the album. It was released on November 26, 2002, byCash Money Records andUniversal Records. The album was supported by the singles "Do That..." (featuringP. Diddy,Mannie Fresh andTateeze), "What Happened to That Boy" (featuringClipse) and "Baby You Can Do It" (featuringToni Braxton). The album featured guest appearances from Cash Money artistsLil Wayne,Boo & Gotti,Strings, Mannie Fresh, andTQ, as well asT.I., P. Diddy,Jermaine Dupri,Jazze Pha,Cam'ron, Toni Braxton, Clipse, andPetey Pablo, among others.

The album peaked at number 24 on theBillboard 200 and received mixed reviews. On January 15, 2003, the album was certified gold by theRecording Industry Association of America (RIAA), for the shipments of 500,000 copies in the United States.
