William P. O'Neill (1909 – date of death unknown) was a New Zealand internationallawn bowler.[1]

Bowls career

He competed in the firstWorld Bowls Championship inKyeemagh,New South Wales,Australia in 1966[2] and won agold medal in thefours withNorm Lash,Ron Buchan andGordon Jolly at the event.[3]

He won the 1954, 1960 and 1963 fours title at theNew Zealand National Bowls Championships when bowling for the Carlton Bowls Club.[4][5]

Awards

He was inducted into theNew Zealand Sports Hall of Fame.[6]
