Welsh athlete
Berwyn Price (born 15 August 1951) is a formerWelsh international athlete. Price was born inTredegar ,Monmouthshire , and studied atLewis School, Pengam [ 1] and theUniversity College of Wales, Aberystwyth .[ 2]
A member of theCardiff Amateur Athletic Club , Price won the silver medal in the110-metre hurdles at the1974 British Commonwealth Games and the gold medal in the same event at the1978 Commonwealth Games .[ 3] [ 4] Price also competed forGreat Britain at the1972 Munich and the1976 Montreal Olympics in the 110-metre hurdles.[ 2]
Price later became Assistant Director of Leisure forSwansea City Council , Head of Sports Tourism forSwansea and project manager for the "White Rock" project to replace theMorfa Stadium .
