Balige is a town inNorth Sumatra province ofIndonesia and it is the seat (capital) ofToba Regency. It is 240 kilometers away fromMedan. Balige is also a tourist spot to seeLake Toba, the largest crater lake in the world. Balige is 60 kilometers away fromParapat, another important town onLake Toba.
