Balanchine is animpact crater on theplanetMercury. It possesses aray system of slightly blue rays which inspired its name due to resembling thetutu inGeorge Balanchine'sSerenade.[1]

Extensivehollows are present within Balanchine, as well as an associated dark spot.[2]

Balanchine lies in the northeast portion of theCaloris Basin. To its northeast isNervo crater, and to its southeastMarch.
