TheMunicipality of Arran–Elderslie is atownship inBruce County inWestern Ontario, Canada. The township is located at the headwaters of theSauble River, and theSaugeen River forms the northwestern boundary.
The township comprises the communities of Allenford, Arkwright, Arranvale, Arran Lake,Burgoyne,Chesley, Dobbinton, Dreamland, Dunblane, Ellengowan, Elsinore, Gillies Hill, Invermay, Kelly's Corners, Lockerby, Mount Hope,Paisley,Salem, Salisbury,Tara, Vesta and Williscroft.
In the2021 Census of Population conducted byStatistics Canada, Arran–Elderslie had a population of6,913 living in2,782 of its2,998 total private dwellings, a change of1.6% from its 2016 population of6,803. With a land area of 458.76 km2 (177.13 sq mi), it had a population density of15.1/km2 (39.0/sq mi) in 2021.[2]
