Argo District (Persian:شهرستان ارگو /Pashto:ارګو ولسوالی) is one of the 28districts inBadakhshan province,Afghanistan.It was created in 2005 from part ofFayzabad District and is home to approximately 45,000 residents.[1]

On 2 May 2014, there weretwo mudslides in the district occurring on the side of a mountain, affecting the villages of eitherAab Barik orHargu.[2]
