TheAnglican Diocese of St Arnaud was adiocese of the Church of England in Australia (now theAnglican Church of Australia[1]), in theMallee andWimmeraregions of north-westVictoria.[2][3] It was created in 1926 out of theDiocese of Ballarat[4] and named after the town ofSt Arnaud. In 1976 it was amalgamated into theDiocese of Bendigo.[5]

Cathedral

The cathedral church was Christ Church, St Arnaud, now known as Christ Church Old Cathedral.[20] The church was designed byF. M. Moore and built in 1864 in a Victorian unpainted brickEarly English Gothic style.[21]
