Angelo Stiller (born 4 April 2001) is a German professionalfootballer who plays as adefensive midfielder forBundesliga clubVfB Stuttgart and theGermany national team.
Stiller made his professional debut forBayern's reserve team making 17 appearances during the2019–20 season.[2] In October 2020, Stiller made his debut forBayern Munich in a 3–0 win over1. FC Düren in the2020–21 DFB-Pokal, as he came on as a substitute toNiklas Süle in the second half.[3] On 1 December 2020, he made hisChampions League debut in a 1–1 away draw againstAtlético Madrid.[4]
On 18 January 2021, it was announced that he would joinTSG Hoffenheim for the2021–22 season.[5] Later that year, on 15 December, he scored his firstBundesliga goal in a 2–2 away draw againstBayer Leverkusen.[6]
On 25 August 2023, Stiller moved toVfB Stuttgart and signed a four-year deal.[7] He scored his first goal for the club and provided an assist in a 3–3 draw againstHeidenheim on 31 March 2024.[8] Later that year, on 11 December, he netted his firstUEFA Champions League goal in a 5–1 victory overYoung Boys.[9] In January 2025, he extended his contract until 2028.[10]
Stiller was a youth international footballer for Germany.[11] In August 2024, he was called up for theGermany national team ahead of the2024–25 UEFA Nations League matches againstHungary and theNetherlands.[12] He debuted on 7 September 2024 against Hungary at theMerkur Spiel-Arena. He substitutedRobert Andrich in the 82nd minute of Germany's 5–0 victory.[13]
