Anadhai Anandhan (/ənɑːðaɪɑːnənðən/transl. Orphaned Anandhan) is a 1970 IndianTamil-language film directed byKrishnan–Panju and produced by Muthuvel Movies.[1] It starsA. V. M. Rajan,Muthuraman,R. S. Manohar andAnjali Devi. The bond between the lead heroineJayalalithaa with the orphaned child played byMaster Sekhar was the highlight of the film. The film was simultaneously made inHindi asChanda Aur Bijli, which was released earlier in 1969. It was a successful film on its release. This film was remade inTelugu asAkka Thamudu in 1972.[2]
