Ammihud (Hebrew:עַמִּיהוּד‘Ammîhūḏ, "people of glory" or "renowned") is the name of severalHebrew Bible figures:

• The father of theEphraimite chiefElishama, the father ofNun, at the time of theExodus (Book of Numbers1:10;2:18;7:48,53).
• The father of Shemuel, of theTribe of Simeon (Numbers 34:20)
• The father ofPedahel, a prince of theTribe of Naphtali (Numbers 34:28)
• The father ofTalmai, king ofGeshur, to whomAbsalom fled after the murder ofAmnon (2 Samuel13:37)
• The son ofOmri, and the father of Uthai (1 Chronicles9:4)
