Alaa Aldeen Hassan (Arabic:عَلَاء الدِّين حَسَن,Hebrew:עלאא א-דין חסן; born 31 January 2000) is a professionalfootballer who plays as awinger forQatar Stars League teamAl-Arabi. Born in Israel, he plays on thePalestine national team.
Born inMashhad, Hassan started playing football forMaccabi Haifa andBeitar Kafr Kanna. He then moved to German clubAlemannia Aachen and later toFamalicão.[1]
In March 2021, Hassan signed forHapoel Kaukab and made his senior debut there.[2]
In October 2021, Hassan joinedLiga Leumit clubKafr Qasim. On 26 October, he made his debut for the club in the 2–0 win againstMaccabi Yavne in theIsrael State Cup. After one season at the club, he joined league fellowHapoel Umm al-Fahm.[3]
On 15 June 2023, Hassan signed a three-year contract withIsraeli Premier League clubBnei Sakhnin.[3] On 2 January 2024, Bnei Sakhin announced the termination of Hassan's contract with the club due to "his lack of professionalism".[4]
In February 2024, Hassan joinedQatar Stars League sideAl-Arabi.[5]
On 6 September 2023, Hassan made international debut withPalestine national team in a 1–2friendly loss toOman.[6]
In January 2024, Hassan was named in the Palestine's 26-men squad for the2023 AFC Asian Cup, held in Qatar.[7]
