Al Masrouhiya (Arabic:المسروحية) is aQatari village located in themunicipality ofAl Daayen.[2]
The village derives its name from theArabic term 'saraha', related to foraging. As the site of a largerawdat (depression), rainfall would accumulate there, facilitating plant growth suitable for grazing by the herds of nomads passing through.[3]
