Al-Muqaabarat (Arabic:مقعبرة) is a village in northernSyria located west ofHoms in theHoms Governorate. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics, Al-Muqaabarat had a population of 607 in the 2004 census.[1] Its inhabitants are predominantlyChristians.[2] The village has twoGreek Orthodox Churches.[3] Al-Muqaabarat includes Haret Mar Doumat, Haret Mahfoud and Haret Jerjes.
