Aeroporto is a terminal station on theRed Line of theLisbon Metro. The station was built to serveLisbon Airport.
The station, designed by the architectLeopoldo de Almeida Rosa, opened on July 17, 2012 in conjunction with theEncarnação andMoscavide stations, as part of the expansion of the line to serveLisbon Portela Airport.[2]
