Adam John Harrington (born November 26, 1972) is a Canadian actor and producer. He is known for his role as Roy Earle in the 2011 video gameL.A. Noire. He has also appeared onSupernatural,The Secret Circle,Queer as Folk,Dexter andBosch. He is also known for portraying Sindri in the 2018 video gameGod of War and its 2022 sequelGod of War Ragnarök, for which he received a nomination for theBritish Academy Games Award for Performer in a Supporting Role.[2]
Harrington was born inHamilton, Ontario,[1] and raised in the nearby towns ofDundas andBurlington, where he attendedBurlington Central High School.[3] He earned a master's degree in marine biology before becoming an actor.[3] He currently lives inLos Angeles.[4] To avoid being confused with another actor of the same name, professionally he uses his middle initial and thus goes by “Adam J. Harrington".[4]
Harrington's film debut was as Hank inSanctimony. He was later cast inShowtime'sOut of Order and had a recurring role as Ronald Basderic onCSI: Crime Scene Investigation during the 2012–13 season.[5] He played the fallen angel Bartholomew, in theninth season ofSupernatural.[6] He had a starring role onThe CW's drama seriesThe Secret Circle.[4] He also worked at Sealand Oceanariums inNanaimo,British Columbia.
In February 2024, Harrington debuted in the role ofJagger Cates on theABC soap operaGeneral Hospital.[7]
