Enzyme

Anacid hydrolase is anenzyme that works best at acidicpHs. It is commonly located inlysosomes, which are acidic on the inside. Acidhydrolases may benucleases, proteases, glycosidases, lipases, phosphatases, sulfatases andphospholipases and make up the approximately 50degradative enzymes of the lysosome that break apart biological matter.[1]
