Abbeydale is an area ofSheffield inSouth Yorkshire,England that follows the valley of theRiver Sheaf.[1] It covers manydistricts of Sheffield in the south-west of the city running roughly from Heeley Bridge in the district ofHeeley to Dore Road betweenBeauchief andTotley. It is named for theAbbey that existed at Beauchief from the 12th century to 1537. The area is part of theNether Edge and Sharrow ward of the city.
