Other ATC codes

ATC code A02Drugs for acid related disorders is a therapeutic subgroup of theAnatomical Therapeutic Chemical Classification System, a system of alphanumeric codes developed by theWorld Health Organization (WHO) for the classification ofdrugs and other medical products.[1][2][3] Subgroup A02 is part of the anatomical groupAAlimentary tract and metabolism.[4]

Codes forveterinary use (ATCvet codes) can be created by placing the letter Q in front of the human ATC code: for example,QA02.[5]
National issues of the ATC classification may include additional codes not present in this list, which follows the WHO version.
