TheA6135 is a 4 digitA road inDerbyshire andSouth Yorkshire,England.
It begins in the town ofBarlborough as "Sheffield Road" at the junction with theM1. The road then heads to the north-west, passing throughRenishaw where it crosses theRiver Rother. The road continues north, crossingThe Moss atEckington before continuing north throughMosborough, forming the High Street, andFrecheville where it becomesBirley Moor Road. The road continues ontoIntake where it becomesMansfield Road, continuing north to meetManor Top at the junction with theA6102 (Prince of Wales Road). The road then continues north-west as City Road, passing theCity Road Cemetery and forming Granville Road. It enters theSheffieldCity Centre at the junction with theA61. The road multiplexes at this point with the A61 road, before reappearing at Derek Dooley Way atPark Square.[1]
The road then passes under the oldSheffield toManchester railway line, west of the formerSheffield Victoria Station, crossing the A6109 near Spital Hill before heading toFir Vale and theNorthern General Hospital.[citation needed]
The road continues north, becoming rural atEcclesfield andChapeltown, where it crosses theBlackburn Brook. The road crosses the M1 again at Hood Hill andHarley before terminating atHoyland at a junction with the M1 and A61.[2]
