Hammarby andAIK returned to the top tier after 2 years and 5 years inElitettan respectively.

All matches are viewed worldwide, except for Mexico, for a fee atDamallsvenskan TVArchived 2017-03-05 at theWayback Machine. Aftonbladet have bought broadcasting rights for all Damallsvenskan matches from 2020 to 2022 and will have them available atSportbladet Play.

In order to preserve chronological progress, any postponed matches are not included in the round at which they were originally scheduled, but added to the full round they were played immediately afterwards.
