2-Hydroxysaclofen is aGABAB receptorantagonist and ananalogue ofsaclofen.
2-Hydroxysaclofen binds to the GABAB receptor, but this is selective for the (S)-enantiomer, while the (R)-enantiomer does not bind to theGABAB protein.[1]
